当地时间2024年12月29日，美国前总统卡特逝世，终年100岁。卡特担任总统期间的诸多外交成就中，最引人注目的当数推动中美建交。
忆及卡特，美国弗吉尼亚大学名誉教授雷朴实(Bruce Reynolds)在接受中新网采访时表示，卡特为人正直、聪颖，他训练有素，且做事尽心尽力，是一个以事实和分析做判断的人。
雷朴实指出，卡特一生都在倡导和平，始终坚信应该做正确的事，他的勇气有助于推动中美两国建交。卡特坚信，这些举措是正义之举。(薛凌桥)
Jimmy Carter, who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981, died on Dec. 29, 2024, at the age of 100. Among Carter's many diplomatic achievements during his presidency, perhaps the most notable was promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China.
Recalling former U.S. president Jimmy Carter, Bruce Reynolds, a professor emeritus from the University of Virginia (UVA), told China News Network that Carter is a man of morality, intelligence. He is well-trained with committed attitude throughout his career. Besides, he is a man believed in facts and analysis.
Reynolds further pointed out that Carter is committed to making peace all his life and he is persisted in doing right things. He added that it is Carter’s courage that makes the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China possible, In the eyes of Carter making peace represents doing right things . 从GDP总量上看，2024年一季度，经济大省广东、江苏、山东继续霸榜前三；浙江、河南、四川、湖北、福建、湖南、安徽紧随其后，在全国排在第四至十名。
江苏首次在一季度GDP突破3万亿元。江苏省统计局国民经济核算处处长汤莉介绍，一季度，江苏农业生产运行平稳，农林牧渔业增加值同比增长4.1%，拉动经济增长0.1个百分点。工业持续回升向好，工业增加值同比增长7.7%，拉动经济增长3个百分点，其中制造业增加值同比增长7.3%，占GDP比重为35.9%。服务业平稳增长，批发和零售业，住宿和餐饮业，租赁和商务服务业，居民服务、修理和其他服务业增加值分别同比增长10.4%、10.2%、11.4%和15.5%，合计拉动经济增长1.9个百分点。
比如，根据珠海市自然资源局3月初印发的《关于印发优化规划管理助力高质量发展若干措施的通知》，优化完善房屋计容建筑面积计算规定。增加多种不计容建筑面积情形，包括公共开放空间的交通附属设施；既有房屋增设必要的消防楼梯、连廊、无障碍设施、电梯等。支持商业服务业建筑按层集中设置不超过该层水平投影面积5%的公共半开敞空间，按其水平投影面积一半计算计容建筑面积。
