忆及卡特，美国弗吉尼亚大学名誉教授雷朴实(Bruce Reynolds)在接受中新网采访时表示，卡特为人正直、聪颖，他训练有素，且做事尽心尽力，是一个以事实和分析做判断的人。

Jimmy Carter, who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981, died on Dec. 29, 2024, at the age of 100. Among Carter's many diplomatic achievements during his presidency, perhaps the most notable was promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China.
Recalling former U.S. president Jimmy Carter, Bruce Reynolds, a professor emeritus from the University of Virginia (UVA), told China News Network that Carter is a man of morality, intelligence. He is well-trained with committed attitude throughout his career. Besides, he is a man believed in facts and analysis.
Reynolds further pointed out that Carter is committed to making peace all his life and he is persisted in doing right things. He added that it is Carter’s courage that makes the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China possible, In the eyes of Carter making peace represents doing right things . 对抗旱工作作出安排部署。印发《关于做好当前抗旱工作的紧急通知》《关于切实做好抗旱播种保苗工作的紧急通知》等文件，就抗旱播种、田间管理、旱情监测、水源调度等提出要求。严格落实以气象预报为先导的应急响应联动机制，组织相关部门滚动开展旱情会商，分析研判旱情发展趋势。及时启动省级抗旱应急四级响应，14个省辖市先后启动本地区抗旱应急响应机制，全省进入抗旱应急状态。
携程集团副总裁秦静认为，随着这一政策的施行，将加速中国与澳大利亚之间的旅游交流及经贸互动。同时，政策也将惠及在澳大利亚生活的逾百万华人华侨，使得他们回国探亲或旅游的过程更为简便顺畅。秦静指出，作为亚太地区的重要国家，中国与澳大利亚在经济上具有高度的互补性，合作潜力巨大，未来也期盼在旅游领域激发更强劲的合作动力。
依据有关规定，经中央纪委常委会会议研究并报中共中央批准，决定给予钟自然开除党籍处分；按规定取消其享受的待遇；收缴其违纪违法所得；将其涉嫌犯罪问题移送检察机关依法审查起诉，所涉财物一并移送。
